What does “100% of profit to charity” mean?Updated a month ago
Good Store exists to fuel high-impact charities. We sell quality goods that enrich everyday life — and donate all the profit. Those funds reach charities in two ways:
- A 16% royalty to the Foundation to Decrease World Suck (FTDWS), a 501(c)(3) charity.
Each month, DFTBA (which operates Good Store) pays the FTDWS a royalty equal to 16% of Good Store product revenue.
FTDWS then grants those funds — net of minimal direct administrative costs — to Good Store’s charitable partners, currently Partners In Health and Coral Reef Alliance. - Year-end donations of operating profit.
At the end of each fiscal year, DFTBA donates Good Store’s operating profit directly to the charitable partner tied to each product line.
The combination of the monthly royalty and year-end operating profit equals 100% of profit donated to charity.
